February 2008 Events

Sunday, February 3 to April 13
Mizusashi
The Art Complex Museum
189 Alden Street
Duxbury, MA

Mizusashi is the fresh water container for the Japanese tea ceremony. Of the various tea ceremony ceramics, the mizusashi is usually the largest. The Art Complex Museum's collection includes an impressive group of these containers. This exhibition will present a selection made by the potters visited by museum co-founder Carl Weyerhaeuser in the 1970's. The containers represent the important kilns in Kyoto, Asahi, Tamba, Shigaraki, Iga, Mino, Seto, Bizen, Hagi and Northern Kyushu. Joey Canzano's "The Man of Many Voices"
Dinner Theater at the
John Carver Inn
25 Summer Street

Joey’s transformation from one star to another is nothing short of pure genius! First, he’s Old Blue Eyes. Then with a slight shift of stance, a subtlety of gesture and a total change in tonality, he becomes Dean Martin. Throughout the night, he’ll morph several times, to Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Julio Iglesias, Neil Diamond and the King himself. An amazing act! Click here to visit Joey Canzano's website.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. in the Governor Carver Room. Advance reservations required. Call for available dates 508-746-7100 or 800-274-1620
