The Dolphin Fleet departs from Provincetown Harbor, the closest port to the whales. You spend less time traveling to them and more time with them. We have 4 specially-designed boats and multiple trips daily. Our boats are modern, clean, and with a full galley bar serving breakfast and lunch.

Dolphin fleet Whale Watches are unique. Unlike many other whale watches our trips offers a wide spectrum of educational tools that go beyond the "average whale watch". All trips are designed to enhance our awareness of whales, other marine life and the marine habitat that surrounds us. Our goal is to have each passenger depart our vessels with a greater understanding and appreciation of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary and the wealth of life it supports.

In 1975 the Dolphin Fleet started whale watching out of Provincetown, Massachusetts with the hope of bringing an understanding and awareness to the public about whales and their environment. We ventured out on educational trips with scientists to study whales as well as educate the public about marine mammals and their habitat.

The first trips where a great success! Our customers were awed by these magnificent creatures charging out of the depths to capture the small fish that that is their diet. Even more exciting was a whale leaving the water with it’s 40 tons of mass crashing back with an explosion of water in it’s wake.
